HOW TO MINE
A complete walkthrough: what you need, how to connect to Robinhood Chain, and how to turn CPU work into a permanent avatar.
Hardware requirements
Mining runs entirely in your browser via Web Workers — there is no software to install and no GPU required. Any modern laptop or desktop works. More CPU cores hash faster; a mid-range machine comfortably clears the early phases.
Connect a wallet to Robinhood Chain
You need an EVM wallet such as MetaMask, set to Robinhood Chain mainnet. If your wallet is on the wrong network the app offers to switch for you.

- Open the Mine page and press START MINING.
- Web Workers hash nonces against the phase target. Watch the live hashrate and leading-zero bits.
- When a hash lands below the target, the solution appears — press MINT.
- Your wallet sends the entry price as a plain ETH transfer to the treasury address.
- The winning hash is hashed again with the 5-minute time bucket — that seed is your avatar.
- The avatar is recorded and appears in the collection, forever.
Picking your cores
The slider on the Mine page sets how many Web Workers run. More cores mean more hashes per second but more CPU usage. Two to four cores keeps a laptop responsive while still mining steadily. You can also tune cores and background mining on the Mining Settings page.
Why your work can't be stolen
Your wallet address is one of the four values hashed into the work, so the same nonce produces a different hash for anybody else. A solution is only valid for the miner who found it — it is untradeable until it is paid for and minted.
What it costs
Entry price doubles every phase, and difficulty rises two bits per phase. Mining patiently through the early phases is far cheaper than rushing the wall.
