About Authorized Avatars for AASA

A browser-mining NFT minting platform on the Robinhood Chain — you don't buy an avatar, you mine one.

What it does

Authorized Avatars for AASA is a browser-mining NFT minting platform built on the Robinhood Chain. Instead of buying a ready-made avatar, you mine one: your browser performs real proof-of-work hashing against a phase target, and when your hash lands below the target, you pay the entry price and the contract draws your avatar from the winning seed. There is no allowlist, no presale, and no off-chain generator — every avatar is a deterministic function of its seed, so the same seed always renders the same pixels for everyone, forever. The picture is a pure function of the seed: ask twice and you get the same art, and so does everybody else. The seed is the winning work hash, hashed again with the five-minute time bucket of the mint, so the look of an avatar is settled only once it lands.

Who it is for

The platform is built for crypto-curious tinkerers, proof-of-work enthusiasts, and collectors who want verifiable, on-chain art that cannot be minted without real computational work. The collection is capped at 4,663 avatars, a number chosen to match the Robinhood Chain mainnet chain ID. Minting unfolds across six phases: each phase doubles the entry price and raises the mining difficulty by two bits, starting at 22 leading-zero bits and climbing to 32. Early phases are cheap and fast; later phases demand more processor cores, more electricity, and more ETH — so reaching the wall is earned, not bought. Every payment routes directly to a transparent treasury address on Robinhood Chain, and every mint is recorded with its winning hash, phase, and derived traits.

Who builds it

Authorized Avatars for AASA is built by the AASA team as an experiment in fair, transparent, browser-native digital collectibles. The project treats mining as the mint: the only way an avatar comes into existence is a hash below the phase target, paid for at the entry price of the current phase. There is no intermediary and no escrow — the transfer is a plain ETH transaction you sign in your own wallet, visible on the explorer. The treasury address is 0x328baca1c22d5cf7bdf4f67cfd56b4789c4a043b on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663).

Get started

Open the miner, pick how many cores to spend, and let your browser hash until a solution lands below the target. Then pay the entry price and keep the avatar.
